My name is Ash, if it wasn't clear from the title! As of writing this, I am a 20-year-old student, starting my third year of college. I've always been somewhat interested in programming, playing around with tools like Scratch and the Python IDLE Shell, but I really want to finally sit down to learn HTML and JavaScript. I think having personal websites is so cool! A little customizable niche of the internet all to myself. I can decorate it however I want! Hang up posters, paint the walls bright pink (once I figure out how to, of course), journal any and everything that comes to mind! The internet is my metaphorical oyster and I am but a teensy little grain of sand waiting to be coated in layers of that sweet calcium carbonate knowledge. Or, you know, something like that.

Today I want to start with basic stuff! Neocities includes lists and tables in the very beginning of the tutorial, so I plan to start there. I already have a bit of knowledge about this from doing BBCode over on PokéFarm Q, but I still wanna make sure I get some practice! I'll use this as a tool to help introduce myself better as well. :3

I figured out how to add stamps!!!!! In the margins!!! Doesn't yet work on mobile but I'll figure out a solution! If I start learning Javascript I may have them scroll endlessly at the bottom of the page or something?

Wow okay. It's been ages since I actually worked on this. You know how college is! I'm okay though! Hanging in there through my three math classes at once :,)

So! One of my big plans for this site is to have some different sections, with like, a blog, a gallery, some music links maybe, OOH maybe crochet patterns or something? Once I figure out how to write them XD! I think that'll be one of the biggest challenges for me, having to figure out how to put that together. The internet is very helpful though! It helped me add all the stamps in the margins! Which I think are adorable :3 But I still need to figure out how to make it more mobile-friendly, because right now it kinda sucks on mobile T-T
